  1. This is Tori. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to post on a blog so I am leaving a comment. I don't know if that is the same thing? But I hope it counts!
My method for finding facts about John Berger was to start at Google. It’s a very broad search but as I keep looking I find ways to narrow my search to something manageable and useful. I first went to Wikipedia which is probably not the most reliable but I found details about him that I could look up on other web pages.
Using Wikipedia I found that Berger was born in London, married twice, and had three kids, all of which followed in his footsteps and pursued careers in the arts. He was born in 1926 and went to a private school. He won a scholarship to the Central School of Art in London, served in the army for 2 years, then went back to school. Berger wrote reviews on paintings, photographs, and other art.
Wikipedia mentioned a book he wrote titled King: A Street Story. It is a story of a run-down town from the perspective of a street dog. I can already tell that this man’s writing will be an interesting read.
The other books that websites mention usually have to do with Berger’s own life or his experience. A website selling the books displays the page numbers. Most only reach a few hundred pages.
